Money, Dating

Ok, the money situation is getting just plain rediculous.  I talked to the customer in Kenosha today, and he doesn’t know why I haven’t been paid.

I sold another website today, but it will be time before I get paid from that.

Working off and on for Dad on some large projects, but, it will be a while before I see anything from that.

DAMNIT!  This is really starting to stress me.  Money everywhere, except in my pocket. :-P  But according to the customer, it should be sorted out and I should be paid next week.  That will be such a relief.

SO, yeah, I haven’t figured out exactly how long it’s been since I’ve been on a date (not counting Date Night when I was married) Like, what, 5 or 6 years?

Well, I have a “first date” sort of thing tomorrow.  We’re meeting for lunch (she works evenings at a hospital, so daytime was much better) and chat for the first time face to face.  I talked with her on the phone for 30 minutes tonight (we weren’t making any “yeah… I gotta go… wash the VCR or something” sort of noises – we stopped when my phone said “Hey, you’re running low on power.”  Well, actually, we stopped when my phone said “Look asshole, plug me in or I’m shutting down, end of story.”)  Sounds like an easy to get along with person.

But personalities online can be very different from the personality of a person face to face (a fact supported by John Gabriel’s Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory – if you haven’t seen it before, it’s bloody well true.  No idea why it got changed from Fuckwad to Dickwad though :-)  Anyway… should be interesting.
